Andy Jordan (CISSP, CISM, MCSA, AWS-CSA, Security+, Network+, ITILv4, LeanIT)

Andy Jordan is the owner/founder of New Genesis Solutions, a managed services provider that focuses on cybersecurity program development and vulnerability management services.

Andy has built and managed multiple security programs for numerous large and small organizations throughout his 15-year career. He uses lean and agile methodologies to create demonstrable value within complex infrastructure and security programs. He is an active figure in the information security community, having presented multiple times at CactusCon, ISSA, ISACA, and other conferences.

Outside of helping New Genesis Solutions’ employees and clients meeting their professional goals, you can find Andy spending quality time with his family and helping them reach their own goals in life.

Scott Jones

Scott Jones is a seasoned industry veteran with over two decades of experience in helping companies of all sizes harness technology to achieve their objectives. For the past 10 years, Scott has focused on data security, guiding organizations in safeguarding their assets and ensuring business continuity.

As an enthusiastic sales coach and mentor, he is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of sales professionals who aspire to be more than just product pushers, but rather partners in helping businesses succeed.

Outside of work, you can find Scott cheering on his favorite sports teams or indulging in his passion for gaming—just ask him about his favorites!

Hal Bass

Hal Bass joined NGS in 2021 as a Sr Risk and Project Manager. He specializes in helping clients measure and improve the performance of their organization.

He is passionate about assessing the processes of an organization and leading initiatives that improve bottom-line results, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. You’ll likely have an opportunity to connect with him during SOC2 preparation (or other frameworks), establishing a Cyber Security program or during NIST-CSF assessments. When needed, he also helps to coordinate project efforts (like a pentest) and ensure the deliverables we provide meet our quality expectations.

One of Hal’s favorite quotes is by Albert Einstein, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

When not working, Hal enjoys traveling to Europe and spending quality time with his wife, making sure his whiskey barrels are aging the way he expects, and cooking up new recipes.

Todd Brewer

Todd Brewer is an accomplished professional with over 13 years of experience in the field of Information Technology and Cybersecurity. Throughout his career, Todd has made significant contributions as both a Systems Engineer and a Cybersecurity Engineer, serving in diverse roles across the public and private sectors.

Todd holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Utah Valley University, where he gained a solid foundation in the principles of information security and developed a keen understanding of emerging cyber threats. He thrives on the constant evolution of technology, eagerly staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments.

Todds favorite quote is “Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground.” by Theodore Roosevelt.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Todd is an avid tinkerer who enjoys exploring new technologies and experimenting with cutting-edge tools. He believes that hands-on experience is invaluable in gaining a deeper understanding of emerging technologies and applying them effectively in real-world scenarios.

When he’s not working, he loves spending time with his family outdoors in the mountains of Arizona.

Tyler Brown

Tyler Brown is a Security Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Prior to starting off in Information Security, Tyler spent 10 years in the United States Marine Corps where he served on several combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security with a concentration in Digital Forensics as well as several vendor and vendor-neutral certifications.

Tyler is New Genesis’ subject matter expert with SIEM solutions and deployments and can assist any organization develop a relevant security program that will serve to strengthen their security posture.

His favorite quote is "Don't waste your time looking back. You're not going that way."

In the off-hours, you will either find him lifting weights, playing guitar, gaming, or spending time outdoors with activities such as hiking, off-roading, or competing in Rallycross. He also enjoys playing with his 6 large dogs.

Jessica (Hatty) Hatfield

Hatty started with New Genesis Solutions as a Project Coordinator in 2023. She has an everlasting positive outlook, and she approaches every project with a cheerful demeanor.

She might also join along security operational meetings to track action items and other initiatives to keep a Cybersecurity program operating smoothly.
