Andy Jordan is the owner/founder of New Genesis Solutions, a managed services provider that focuses on cybersecurity program development and vulnerability management services.

Andy has built and managed multiple security programs for numerous large and small organizations throughout his 15-year career. He uses lean and agile methodologies to create demonstrable value within complex infrastructure and security programs. He is an active figure in the information security community, having presented multiple times at CactusCon, ISSA, ISACA, and other conferences.

Outside of helping New Genesis Solutions’ employees and clients meeting their professional goals, you can find Andy spending quality time with his family and helping them reach their own goals in life.

Hal Bass

Hal Bass joined NGS in 2021 as a Sr Risk and Project Manager. He specializes in helping clients measure and improve the performance of their organization.

He is passionate about assessing the processes of an organization and leading initiatives that improve bottom-line results, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. You’ll likely have an opportunity to connect with him during SOC2 preparation (or other frameworks), establishing a Cyber Security program or during NIST-CSF assessments. When needed, he also helps to coordinate project efforts (like a pentest) and ensure the deliverables we provide meet our quality expectations.

One of Hal’s favorite quotes is by Albert Einstein, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

When not working, Hal enjoys traveling to Europe and spending quality time with his wife, making sure his whiskey barrels are aging the way he expects, and cooking up new recipes.

Josh Russo

Joshua Russo is an accomplished IT and Cyber Security professional based in Arizona. With over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, Josh's career is marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for mastering new technologies. His broad skillset and adaptability have established him as a "jack of all trades" in the realm of IT, allowing him to consistently deliver superior results and embrace the mantra that "every day is a learning day."

Currently spearheading security strategies as a Senior Security Engineer at New Genesis Solutions, Josh has played a pivotal role in the company's growth and innovation in cybersecurity. He is fervent believer in continuous improvement and ensures that his work not only meets but exceeds industry standards.

Todd Brewer

Todd Brewer is an accomplished professional with over 13 years of experience in the field of Information Technology and Cybersecurity. Throughout his career, Todd has made significant contributions as both a Systems Engineer and a Cybersecurity Engineer, serving in diverse roles across the public and private sectors.

Todd holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Utah Valley University, where he gained a solid foundation in the principles of information security and developed a keen understanding of emerging cyber threats. He thrives on the constant evolution of technology, eagerly staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Todd is an avid tinkerer who enjoys exploring new technologies and experimenting with cutting-edge tools. He believes that hands-on experience is invaluable in gaining a deeper understanding of emerging technologies and applying them effectively in real-world scenarios.

When he’s not working, he loves spending time with his family outdoors in the mountains of Arizona.

Tyler Brown

Tyler Brown is a Security Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Prior to starting off in Information Security, Tyler spent 10 years in the United States Marine Corps where he served on several combat deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security with a concentration in Digital Forensics as well as several vendor and vendor-neutral certifications.

Tyler is New Genesis’ subject matter expert with SIEM solutions and deployments and can assist any organization develop a relevant security program that will serve to strengthen their security posture.

His favorite quote is "Don't waste your time looking back. You're not going that way."

In the off-hours, you will either find him lifting weights, playing guitar, gaming, or spending time outdoors with activities such as hiking, off-roading, or competing in Rallycross. He also enjoys playing with his 6 large dogs.

Darren Pawlak

Darren Pawlak is an Enterprise Systems Engineer and IT professional with over 16 years of experience spanning both the Private and Public sectors. Darren is a subject matter expert in Server Administration, Microsoft Server platform and services, VMware, Azure Cloud, Storage appliances, and Backup technologies. His private cloud datacenter expertise extends to architecting the full virtualization stack, Disaster Recovery technologies, and full business continuity failover.

Darren is a Senior Systems Engineer at New Genesis Solutions and brings with him a depth of knowledge and experience. He has worked with both government and corporate clients, delivering high-quality solutions and services that meet their needs and expectations. He is passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems.

Darren is a visionary leader who inspires his team to achieve excellence and innovation. He believes in creating a culture of collaboration, creativity, and customer satisfaction. He is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow his skills and make a positive impact.

Amber Russo

Amber Russo is a dynamic professional with a rich background in marketing, design, and business support. She currently serves as a vital member of the New Genesis Solutions team in Arizona, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success.

Amber is a Business Support Specialist whose journey with New Genesis Solutions began in 2022. You might have met her at conferences, during the sales process, or reaching out to hear how NGS can improve our services. Additionally, there are some things behind the scenes which you might have noticed, like our updated logo, website, and new polos.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Amber cherishes spending time with her family and indulging in her love for reading painting, and photography, all of which contribute to her well-rounded and creative approach in her role at New Genesis Solutions.

Kirsten McBride

Kirsten is a Business Intelligence Analyst at New Genesis Solutions, where she builds and maintains the reporting needs of our clients. She has not only built out the NGS Insights platform but continues to improve that platform and expand Insights to areas beyond Vulnerability Management.

Prior to joining New Genesis Solutions, Kirsten worked at OneNeck IT Solutions for 8 years where she worked with business applications including but not limited to Cherwell Service Management, CPQ, Change Point and Power BI.

At New Genesis Solutions, Kirsten is dedicated to Improving the NGS Insights platform and further expanding it to more of the services we provide. By giving our clients a metric-based view into vulnerabilities, appropriate actions can be taken by our clients to address those vulnerabilities.

Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys gaming, reading, and lifting weights.

Jessica (Hatty) Hatfield

Hatty started with New Genesis Solutions as a Project Coordinator in 2023. She has an everlasting positive outlook, and she approaches every project with a cheerful demeanor.
