New Genesis Solutions was founded in 2018 as a cybersecurity services organization that focuses on just one area of cyber security - Vulnerability Management.

Job Responsibilities
-
Analyze large sets of data using pivot tables or formulas to provide detailed recommendations and action plans to NGS clients.

Prepare reports or presentations that provide administrative and technical control recommendations to improve NGS client information security programs.

Ability to perform security program assessments using industry frameworks (NIST-CSF, NIST-800-53, ISO 27001, CMMC) and regulatory requirements (PCI, HIPAA, & GDPR)

Demonstrate consultative expertise within a cybersecurity specialization. Examples include:

Patching and Vulnerability Management

Security Incident Response Management
-
Offensive Security Assessment
-
IT and Security Tool Administration
-
Application Security and Software Development Lifecycle Management
-
Risk Assessment and Management
-
Security Compliance and Auditing
-
Assist other New Genesis Solutions team members in creation of client deliverables.

Occasionally travel to client sites as part of a project efforts

Requirements
-
3+ years of experience in a technology (IT or Security) engineering or architecture
-
1+ year of experience in implementing cybersecurity best practices.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking.
-
Attention to detail, excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
-
Must be a self-starter who is able to initiate discussion, voice concerns, and successfully drive programs and projects to completion. This is performed as part of a team or solo in rare situations.
